Description
When unloaded, the BMW R 1300 GS stands quite steeply on its side stand, causing the motorcycle to lean significantly to the side. On soft or uneven ground, this can lead to the following problems:

• The side stand sinking into mud, grass, or softened asphalt.
• Excessive lean angle, increasing the risk of tipping over.
• Small side stand contact area, resulting in poor stability and an insecure feeling when parking.

This side stand extension was developed to solve all these problems - it provides greater height, better grip, and excellent stability for your R 1300 GS.

Important notes
Due to the different model configurations and suspension settings for this motorcycle, BMW has used different specifications for the side and center stands.

In rare cases, the foot of the side stand extension may touch the center stand when it is retracted. To solve this problem, we include an adjustable 8 mm nylon screw for fine-tuning the clearance to prevent contact.
