Routine air filter maintenance instructions:

1. Remove the filter element and clean it with a soft brush or cleaner to remove adhered dust.
2. Spray the cleaner evenly on the surface and let it sit for 5–8 minutes.
3. Rinse the filter with low-pressure water from the clean side to the dirty side to remove dust and dirt.
4. After rinsing, gently shake the water out of the filter or let it air dry.
5. Do not use compressed air or a hairdryer to dry. Such methods can damage the filter material.
6. Applying the oil (use K&N 99-5050): After air drying, apply a thin layer of the red K&N oil to the clean filter element (wet about 30% of the total area; the oil will gradually spread over the entire surface without dripping). For optimal effect, the oil should be applied sparingly, thinly, and evenly.
7. Reinstall the cleaned and oiled filter element, making sure the screws are tightened securely.

Note: It is recommended to clean the filter every 5,000 kilometers to ensure unobstructed engine breathing and delay-free power delivery!
