Adjustable Stand Aluminum Lowering Link for Yamaha YZ450F 2023-2024

When you reduce the height of your bike, you need to shorten the kickstand to maintain the correct lean angle and prevent your bike from tipping over. The kickstand is secured with existing mounting bolts, making maintenance easy. When you're racing down the road, the kickstand folds up under the side panel. You won't even notice it's there!

How to install your new Kickstand:

1. Secure the bike on a center stand.

2. Remove the stock chain guide screw.

3. Install the kickstand to the bike using the provided M8x70 flat head bolt in the lower hole of the kickstand base. The bolt will go through the base and acquire a guide. The stock nut will be used on the backside of the chain guide. NOTE: Do not fully tighten the bolt.

4. Install the upper M8x25 bolt with adjacent clamp piece.

5. Fully tighten the bolts from step 4 and 5.

6. Periodically check the kickstand leg pivot pin and all mounting bolts for tightness.

NOTE:

• We recommend using a thread-locking agent on all bolt threads.
• To avoid damage: Do not start the motorcycle or sit on the motorcycle with the kickstand extended.
