2. Before purchasing, check if your vehicle has the ambient lighting option in the iDrive settings – Lighting – Ambient Lighting; most, if not all, models should have this.
3. The power connector for our console panel LED lighting is 3-pin. If your car has a 4-pin design, you may need to modify the connector.
4. If your iDrive system does not have 2 ambient light options (classic and sporty), the console ambient light can only glow orange after installation, and the iDrive system must be updated to achieve the dual-color light effect.
