1. If the original car does not activate the color changing function or does not have a control box control, the color conversion of this product needs to be programmed.
2. Before purchasing, check if your vehicle has the ambient lighting option in the idrive settings – lighting – ambient lighting, most if not all models should have this.
3. The connector for the power supply of our LED console panel lighting is 3-pin. If your car has a 4-pin design, you may need to change the connector.
4. If your iDrive system does not have 2 ambient light options (classic and sport), the console ambient light can only light up orange after installation, and the iDrive system needs to be updated to achieve the two-color light effect.
