When the BMW R1300GS is unladen, its side stand angle is relatively steep, causing the motorcycle to lean heavily. On soft or uneven ground, this can lead to the following problems:

The side stand sinks into mud, grass, or soft asphalt.
The excessive lean angle increases the risk of tipping.
The small contact area of the side stand results in a lack of stability and reduced safety when parking.
