Empty fuel is never pleasant, but modern motorcycles with injection don’t have a fuel tap to siphon gas from your buddy’s bike. Of course, you can hang a piece of fuel line into the tank and suck on it to get enough fuel for gravity feed into the line. When you use a piece of fuel line with a quick coupling attached to your motorcycle’s quick coupling, a simple press of the start button is enough to transfer fuel. But do you want to unnecessarily drain the battery and run the starter for minutes just to transfer a few liters of fuel? Transferring one liter takes almost a minute. The FTK kit prevents this problem. It comes with a cable that powers the fuel pump directly from the battery, so the starter no longer needs to be engaged. Simply plug it into the tank connection and quickly connect the cable to the appropriate battery terminals to start pumping.
• Compact and lightweight trail tool – You can also use the kit in the workshop to quickly drain most of the fuel from the motorcycle tank into a fuel canister. However, the design is primarily focused on being a compact and lightweight trail tool. The power cable is coiled as compactly as possible. The same applies to the FTK fuel line with quick coupling. It consists of a 1-meter-long fuel line with a deliberately small diameter of 6 mm to keep the line very compact when coiled. This allows the entire kit to fit into any pocket.
