The electric starter is a known weakness of your bike, requiring inspection or cleaning every 20 hours or once a year, as stated in a service bulletin. And the essential part is replacing the worn original Teflon bushing, which wears out quickly and can easily lead to damage to your starting system (Bendix and/or ring gear) or engine casing.
Features:
- To solve this issue, we roll out upgraded bushings made of high-quality bronze with high tolerance. Not easy to wear due to its self-lubricating and maintenance-free features. Manufactured to improve the durability and reliability of your starter system.
- Machined with the latest CNC technology to ensure high accuracy for a perfect fit.
- 30° chamfer for much easier installation.
- If you have any problems before or after purchase, please feel free to contact us.

* Some 2019 bikes have 2 long bushings, others have one long bushing in the crankcase and standard (short) in the ignition cover. That's why this kit includes two long and one short to cover all options.
Note: When installing bronze bushings, they should fit with a light press fit into the engine case and cover. However, it is common for the stock bushings to spin in the bushing bore causing wear, resulting in a loose fit. It is vital to ensure new bushings are held securely in place and some retaining compound (such as Loctite 638 or 648) may be used. If the bushing bore is heavily damaged, it should be repaired or replaced before new bushings are installed.
